We waited until 3 days before Valentine’s Day to publish this post for a reason! If you’re in a bind this year, and are trying to do something outside of the box with your guy (think Monica & Chandler, when they make a deal to exchange DIY gifts and both end up forgetting and getting each other awful gifts!) here are 3 date nights you can pull off in 3 days – because dinner and a movie are so over done! Oh and ladies, go ahead and leave your computer screen open all day and night if you think your guy needs an idea or two ;)
1. Outdoor Movie Night
We’re sorry if this option breaks your heart a little if you’re in Chicago, but it’s just too good not to list! If weather permits, rent a big screen and projector (unless you know someone you can borrow from) and set up a cozy outdoor date night! Cook dinner, get takeout, create a romantic atmosphere with lights and lanterns and your date night will be one to remember!
2. Date Night in a Bag
This entire website has AMAZING ideas! But this “date night in a bag” idea is too easy and perfect for a last minute date idea! Some popcorn, candy, maybe swap the cola for some champs, and you’re good to go! We loved this idea so much that we put together our own Shannon Gail version!
3. Treasure Hunt
A few clues leading up to a final spot, maybe a great dinner at your favorite restaurant (or even at home!) will definitely set the tone for a fabulous Valentine’s day!
