Now that this year’s wedding season is winding down (a little bit), we wanted to recap a few of our favorite celebrity weddings.  There were so many this past year and, believe us, we followed along with all of you and bought every magazine on the shelves to keep up our favorite stars who tied the knot this year! Here are a few details that we think these celebs nailed.

1. Lauren Conrad & William Tell – The Bridal Beauty

This was definitely one of our most anticipated weddings of the year.  It seems like everything LC touches turns to gold, so you could only imagine our excitement when it came to her wedding.  And she definitely did not disappoint.  For us, the best thing Lauren did was stay true to who is in terms of her bridal beauty.  She kept it simple and looked absolutely stunning.

2. Kim Kardashian & Kanye West – The Destination(s)

While Kim and Kanye are probably some of the only people on the planet who have the ability to bring guests to not one, but two beautiful cities for their wedding, we say more power to them!  We are all about entertaining and creating an amazing night for not only the Bride and Groom, but their guests as well.  Although mosts guests are usually pretty impressed with a fantastic bubbly bar, we still love the extra effort that Kimye put in.

3. Jessica Simpson & Eric Johnson – The Atmosphere

While there aren’t too many photos of Jessica and Eric’s gorgeous July wedding floating around, there is a video that shows it all (click here to view the video).  We absolutely could not get over the how stunning the lighting, the flowers, and the overall mood of their wedding was.  According to Mrs. Johnson, they had a huge band and guests were having the time of their lives! Mission accomplished!

4. George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin – The Fashion

Elegance was the word of the night for this couple’s vows in Italy.  George Clooney wore a tux created by Giorgio Armani. The black tuxedo in ultra-fine wool/cashmere was paired with a white shirt, black bow tie and oxfords in smooth, brushed black leather.  Amal stunned in an Oscar de la Renta French lace gown, which was hand-embroidered with pearls and diamanté stones. The gown featured an off-the-shoulder neckline and a full train, and the whole look was finished with a cathedral-length lace-edged veil (source: People).  Between the two of them, the fashion was on point. Elegance and sophistication are always a good direction to go in!
