While our last Real Weddings post (featuring Jenn + Jason’s wedding) was planned in just three months, the wedding we are featuring today was planned over the course of two years!

Here is a description of the wedding from Shannon!

Andy, Sabrina, and I started planning together 2 years before the wedding so that we could plan it during Sabrina’s journey through medical school.  We wanted to turn the outdoor tent of Park Grill into a calm, serene environment so we draped it with ivory and very, very soft peach fabric. We approached the design from more of an interior design feel than a wedding necessarily, as we wanted many well placed details. We had lavender in cones custom made from sheet music of the couple’s first dance song. Many of the vases, etc. belonged to Sabrina’s mother and were family heirlooms. We even spent a ton of time on the Groom’s fashion with countless tie shopping trips (the Bride and Groom) and attention to every last detail of his shirt, boutonniere, socks, etc.!
